Meet
Victor!
Victor, a handsome Lurcher, is now ready to start the next chapter of his life with a forever family after spending the last two years in RSPCA care due to his previous owners' legal proceedings.
During his stay, Victor has become a firm favorite with everyone at the RSPCA, thanks to his adorable nature. Given his breed, it is essential that his new family has Lurcher experience and knowledge of prey drives. This experience is crucial as Victor cannot live with small furries or cats.
Victor is selective about other dogs, preferring the company of females, and enjoys going on walks with them. Due to his extended time in kennels, he will need some guidance with house training and would appreciate help in this area.
Traveling is one of Victor's favourite activities, making him an ideal companion for someone looking for a best friend to join them on their adventures.
While he hasn't had much interaction with children, he has seen a few on his walks and would be comfortable living with children aged 12 and above, as he might find younger children too tempting to play with due to his size.
Meet Jasper!
Jasper is on the lookout for a new home after his previous owner could no longer care for him.
He is a shy guy and it takes him a little time to settle in. Now that he is comfortable in his surroundings, Jasper is more confident and coming out to see the humans currently caring for him. They are nice, but it's not the same as having a sofa to call his own. Could he take up residence on yours?
The humans looking after Jasper have found that he can become overstimulated and excited when receiving affection, and may give a nip. To help him learn how to accept affection, they are keeping his sessions short but frequent. Jasper is young and looking for a fresh start with plenty of green spaces to explore once he is settled into his new home, as he is currently a bit too nervous to spend much time outside.
Jasper has been on medication to help him settle in and cope with his anxiety, which has been helpful. His RSPCA family will be more than happy to discuss this with his potential new family.
